The Painting Perfectionists is the painting company of Mark Taylor, serving Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach and the surrounding Southwest Florida coast.
The name isn’t decoration — it’s the standard the work is held to. Surfaces get real preparation before any paint goes on. Edges and cut-ins get the patience they need. And when the job wraps, the space is walked through together and left spotless.
Interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting and pressure washing — for homes and for businesses. If it should look perfect, it’s our kind of project.
Our Story
Three generations of working hands.
About a hundred years ago in Dooly County, Georgia, Mark’s grandfather — John Wesley Taylor — looked at the blueprint for wiring a house and said, I can do that. He became the only Black man in town, and the only man, who wasn’t afraid to do that work for people — and he wired that town’s homes for the next forty years.
He raised thirteen children — six boys and seven girls — and the family has carried the trades ever since: electricians, roofing contractors, brick masons. One of Mark’s uncles is still working electricity in that same town today, fifty years on from his father.
Mark grew up working and never stopped. That inheritance shows up on every job: we still do things the old-fashioned way — custom work, by hand.
